Future-Proof: How To Energize Change & Become Un-Disruptable

PERFECT IF YOU NEED:

Change Management • Resilience • Strategic Foresight • Upskilling • Competitive Advantage • Disruption Immunity • Future Readiness

In today’s chaotic business climate, leaders are drowning in uncertainty. A.I. is upending entire industries. Remote work is reshaping everything. Markets are volatile, and change never stops coming. It’s exhausting — and trying to navigate this with yesterday’s playbook is a losing game.

But what if uncertainty didn’t have to paralyze us? What if it could energize us?

To thrive in this era of disruption, we must master the most powerful skill of tomorrow: Future Design™.

In this bold and inspiring keynote, futurist Josh Allan Dykstra reveals how to turn chaos into opportunity — equipping your leaders and teams with practical tools to become un-disruptable, think around corners, and build a future they love.

YOUR AUDIENCE WILL LEAVE KNOWING HOW TO:
  • Identify Your Edge – Design the unique value only YOU can create in the future economy, and position yourself where opportunity is heading.
  • Delegate Your Drainers – Offload energy-sucking tasks to people, tools, or A.I. so you can focus on future-building work that only humans can do.
  • Own Your Tomorrow – Master the art of spotting emerging patterns and turning uncertainty into your clear competitive advantage.
WHY THIS MATTERS TO ME

The story behind this keynote...

A friend of mine from grad school nailed it… “People don’t like two things: when things change, and when things stay the same.”

Change usually energizes me, but I’ve watched it crush people who love learning — which is just change in disguise. At some point, it hit me: people don’t hate change. They hate change that sucks.

And wow, does most change suck. Even though we try not to, we end up rolling out “transformations” that suck the lifeforce out of everyone nearby. We don’t want it to be this way, but it always is.

This keynote was born from that irony. If change is inevitable, why are we so catastrophically bad at it? I went hunting through history, through physics, through studies with guinea pigs, and through boat races. What I found were genuinely shocking insights about how humans actually thrive through turmoil.

What emerged isn’t another “embrace disruption” pep talk. It’s a blueprint for turning the chaos that terrifies us into strategic competitive advantage.
