written 3.23.05 – 3.31.05

Most of the tunes for this record were fairly dark and depressing, but I do have the pleasure of being connected to a fantastic, beautiful girl, and her light sometimes can't help but break through, even when I'm in a terrible place.

I didn't know what the song was going to be about when I started, but when I wrote what would become the last verse (which is how I end the song) I knew that the whole thing was about her.
