I can't really write a spoiler about this, obviously, because I didn't write it (although, like many other songwriters I'm sure, I wish I had).

I can tell you how much this song has come to mean to me; I began covering it live when I added the piano back into my live set around April of '05, and the beauty and depth of Leonard Cohen's magnificent poetry seems to dig a little deeper every time I sing it.
